Oh! How I wish for once I was French, for here I could have entitled this page “Un Peu d’Histoire” or Collobr’hier et aujourd h’ui, but no puns please we are American. Here is a history lesson. This page is actually rather serious, or at least less flippant than most of the others, excepting of course the houses for sale, which is not only altruistic, but deadly serious. No, the idea for this came from my non-vegetarian daughter after having bought up a job lot of turn of the [twentieth] century postcards of the village she decided to take new photos of the same scene some hundred and more years later. Let’s see what has improved and what hasn’t.
